Amorismo is a philosophy of life and way of living. Practicioners of Amorismo are called Amorists in plural, or an Amorist in singular form.
Amor; love. -ismo, ism.
Similar terms exist, such as loveism or lovism, philosophy of love, way of love, etc. However, Amorismo should be understood as a collected philosophy for the practitioner of love.
An Amorist believes in the power and spiritual force of love. Love is understood as an energy that is present in all people with the possibility of being shared and expanded.
Amorismo consists of three components; (1) Love, the Spiritual Force, (2) Sex, the Bodily Connector, and (3) Intimacy, the Mental Connector. These are understood and observed as the foundation of the philosophy of the Amorist.
Intimacy is needed for Sex. Both Intimacy and Sex are needed for Love.
Intimacy, the Mental Connector is needed for Sex, the Bodily Connector. Intimacy, the Mental Connector and Sex, the Bodily Connector are both needed for Love, the Spiritual Force.
Love, the Spiritual Force
Love, in Amorismo, is understood as the spiritual force. The force that is to be strived for. It is also the goal of the two other components; (3) Intimacy and (2) Sex. Thus, (1) Love is the result of sustained focus on sex and intimacy.
Sex, the Bodily Connector
Sex, in Amorismo, is understood in the broadest sense as the bodily aspect of love. The bodily aspect that connects the body to the spiritual force of love. Thus, (2) Sex is one of the components necessary to sustain the connection with the spiritual force of (1) Love.
Intimacy, the Mental Connector
Intimacy, in Amorismo, is understood as the mental aspect of love. The mental aspect that connects the mind to the spiritual force of love. Thus, (3) Intimacy is one of the components necessary to sustain the connection with the spiritual force of (1) Love.
Love, Sex & Intimacy
Together, Intimacy and Sex connects the practicioner to Love. This is the philosophy of Amorismo and the Amorist.
